As a non-profit organization, membership is an important source of revenue for The Ark, helping to support our annual programming and operations. In January of 2005 we rolled out a new membership program featuring new levels and benefits. We hope you'll find a level that is appropriate for your budget and you'll make the commitment today. Call our office to become a member at (734) 761-1800 between standard business hours. Please note that the Introductory Membership and Friend Membership are available only in person at The Ark.

$50 Solo Membership
Benefits include:
-Ability for member and their guests to purchase alcohol at The Ark.
-Receive bi-monthly print calendar of Ark events at your home.
-Ability to purchase Folk Festival tickets in advance of the public.
-$1 ticket rebate in the form of a wooden nickel, which can be cashed at the bar or used to purchase concessions. The nickel is given to you at the door when you show your card. Available for Ark produced shows, which take place at The Ark.
-20% discount on Ark merchandise such as shirts and hats (does not apply to performer CDs or merchandise).
-Free attendance at Open Stage Nights.
-Free entry to a designated Ark performance on a quarterly basis.
-Fully tax-deductible
-Valid for one year

$100 Premiere Membership
Benefits include all listed above plus:
-Benefits apply to up to two people living in the same household
-One-time recognition in The Ark’s calendar of events.
-One-time 10% Schoolkid’s in Exile discount (no limit on the number of CDs you can purchase at this time).
-One free popcorn per show when you show your membership card.
-The chance to purchase tickets in advance of the general public for occasional once-in-a-lifetime concerts.
-Advance invitations to participate in special events (such as the annual fall event and golf scramble) will be mailed directly to your home.

$250 Applauder Membership
Benefits include all listed above plus:
- Two hours of parking validation for any Republic parking lot or garage.
-Ongoing 10% Schoolkids’ discount on LOCAL artist CDs.
-Free unlimited fountain soda, popcorn, coffee, and tea.

$500 Producer Membership
Benefits include all listed above plus:
-Priority seating for up to four people at Ark produced shows with one week’s notice. Our managers will hand select your seats prior to the show. Location varies (these are not located in the reserved section). Purchase your tickets then call us at (734) 761-1800 and we’ll reserve seats for you. Subject to availability.

$1,000 Virtuoso Membership
Benefits include all listed above plus:
-Acknowledgement from the stage as the sponsor of an Ark show.
-Invitation to a special annual evening to include dinner followed by a concert at The Ark.

$2,500 Ark Angel Membership
Benefits include all listed above plus:
-Ability to order tickets directly from The Ark office.

$5 Introductory Membership (available in person at The Ark only)
Benefits include:
-Ability for member and their guests to purchase alcohol at The Ark.
-Ability to receive bi-monthly print calendar of Ark events at your home.
-Valid during the current University of Michigan semester

$20 Friend Membership (available in person at The Ark only)
Benefits include those of the above Introductory membership plus:
-Ability to purchase Folk Festival tickets in advance of the public.
