"An afternoon of family fun to benefit children displaced by the hurricanes of 2005"

Gemini's annual Thanksgiving family concert this year is turning into an all-star Ann Arbor event to benefit the children of the Gulf Coast whose lives have been upended by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Gemini, the much-loved duo of Sandor and Laszlo Slomovits, offers rousing singalongs, hand motion tunes, folk tales, and music from around the world. They're joined by a roster of Ann Arbor favorites, including harmonica whiz Peter "Madcat" Ruth, harmony dreamboats the Chenille Sisters, storyteller LaRon Williams, and actors from the Wild Swan Theater. Come out, enjoy a great afternoon of family entertainment, and help make sure that some kids who really need a holiday will have one this year.
