"Delectable old-time blues!"
Ragtime Jack Radcliffe and bluesman Andy Cohen have been playing classic American music since the 1960s. Veterans of the blues and jazz scenes, Andy and Jack combine their enormous repertoires with a certain penchant for silliness to create an incredible evening of ragtime and country blues, accompanied by insults, jabs, and bad jokes. Andy Cohen studied guitar with several legendary early blues musicians. He's a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the music of the Rev. Gary Davis, and he plays such forgotten instruments as the dolceola. Ragtime Jack Radcliffe has been called "the undisputed master of country blues piano" by bluesman Larry Johnson. Together they've got a new album, "Four Hands, No Waiting," and an evening of music that's a real treat!
