Folks Like Us, the radio voice of folk music in southeastern Michigan, recently came down the road from Detroit to Ypsilanti's WEMU, 89.1 FM. We're celebrating this event with what else--music! Folks Like Us host Matt Watroba has invited some of his favorite nationally known performers to join him on stage, including Lou and Peter Berryman, Anne Hills, and Don White, longtime Ark favorites all. And we have it on good authority that there will be surprise guests--and given the long list of people in Matt's address book, that means just about anybody in the world of folk music.
