"'Abounds with passion and raw, unpolished soul'--The Independent, London"
Like U2, whose label issued several of their albums, the Hothouse Flowers make pop-rock music that's thoroughly infused with Irish roots. They've been around off and on since the late 1980s, topping the charts in the British Isles and gaining a devoted cadre of fans stateside with their hyper-energetic shows. Now they've come back in a big way with their new album, Into Your Heart, which probes the emotional landscape of middle age. Like their more famous compatriots, the Hothouse Flowers have a passion for American soul and gospel music, and U2's Bono has called Hothouse Flowers lead vocalist Liam O Maonlai "the best white soul singer in the world."
