"'His stage presence is second to none'--The Globe and Mail, Toronto"
Jerry Harmon, "the Smoky Mountain Gypsy," is the real deal--an Appalachian guitarist and storyteller who grew up deep in the North Carolina Blue Ridge foothills in a family whose mountain storytelling roots go straight back to the British Isles. He has appeared at Merlefest, at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and at schools and festivals all over the U.S. and Canada. Wherever he goes, he makes new friends with his unique guitar style and his down-to-earth sense of humor. "I always tell people I am from Taylorsville when they ask where I am from," Jerry says. "Usually the next question is where is that. I say it is between Hiddenite and Ellendale or Sugar Loaf and Wittenburg depending on which direction you are coming in."
